Through our holiday awareness sessions, we continue to support families and children with essential life skills and protection knowledge. Last week’s 3-days sessions at Shelter Children’s Home ended in style with a #backtoschool sports edition. The children were taught on the importance of words, positive attitude and academic success; themed “My Words, My Power”. Guided by James3:5-10, they were encouraged to weigh their words, practice thinking before speaking and understand that words are part of their witness to God.
As they go back to school, they carry along with them confidence, courage and the urge to excel in their academics
