On Saturday, 30th May 2026 marked a remarkable milestone as we celebrated the launch of a new Maternity Unit at Barpello Catholic Dispensary in Baringo County.
This achievement reflects our commitment to improving maternal and newborn healthcare by providing expectant mothers with safe, quality, and compassionate care closer to home.
In attendance were; Rt. Rev. Cleophas Oseso, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Nakuru; He emphasized on the importance of marternal health towards societal development and need for regular check ups, CDN Caritas staffs, Government officials led by Dr. Solomon Sirma; CEC Baringo Health department, Stefano Fusi (President of the cooperation) and Niccolò Giordano (manager Acquifera Aps) and SOMIRENEC staffs. The president and Niccolo emphasized on importance of access to clean water and maternal care as they form a focal crucial part of the society.
